Privacy Policy

A simple policy for a simple site.

The Mail Scoop is a lightweight content site. This policy describes what the current MVP does, what it does not do, and how updates will be handled if the site changes later.

This policy is written for the site as it exists now. If major features change, this page should change with them.

Information this site may receive

The current site does not offer user accounts, public comments, or newsletter signups.

If you email hello@themailscoop.com directly, the information you send becomes the only direct personal information the site intentionally receives from you.

Like most websites, hosting and infrastructure may also create basic server logs such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and access time.

How information may be used

Direct email messages may be used to respond to your request, fix factual issues, or handle business inquiries.

Basic server-level information may be used for security, debugging, uptime monitoring, or understanding site performance at a high level.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The current MVP is not built around account systems, comment systems, or newsletter capture forms.

If analytics tools, ad scripts, or new tracking technologies are added later, this policy should be updated to reflect the actual tools in use.

Third-party links

The Mail Scoop links to external software vendors and other third-party websites. Once you leave this site, their policies and practices apply instead of this one.

Updates and contact

If this site adds meaningful new functionality, this policy should be revised to match the new behavior.

Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@themailscoop.com.
